This book ripped my to shreds. Down to my core. I loved it. I wish I could forget it and read it for the first time all over again.

This was an unplanned read that completely blew me away. I immediately dove right in. Planned and committed TBR be damned. After finishing the book all I can say is WOW! So this review will be spoiler free because this book is best if YOU GO IN BLIND. Do not read any other reviews before hand to avoid spoilers. TRUST ME!

You are going to see things one way when you first start reading it. Then eventually, reality will come crashing down and you will rethink and analzye everything you’ve just read. Like finally opening your eyes and realizing nothing was as it seemed. Pieces will start to fall together and you will realize this book gives new meaning to unconditional love. The real hero in this story is Yeo. His sheer dedication, commitment, and undying devotion for Kady is truly unfathomable.

This was the most fascinating story for me so far. It was dark and triggering with themes of physical and sexual abuse that is not glossed over. It was also heartbreaking and heavy at times. With all of that it was one of the most unconventional love stories I have read. It even had a bit of humor sprinkled in from side characters. I misunderstood Bones at first, but then grew to love him! I can’t stop thinking about all the plot points in the timeline from past to present. It was like a ton of puzzle pieces that started falling into place. The thing I appreciate the most is understanding the complexity of each character in this story. I tried to see through each of their eyes, especially Yeo’s, and that is what made this so remarkable for me. I think Webster did a phenomenal job in writing each character and POV. She did a lot of research while writing this book and I can say that I learned some things, which made it even more fascinating. I already feel like I want to reread this book.

definitely like nothing I've ever read before but I'm definitely not disappointed. K Webster is easily one of my fav authors and this book is just another piece of evidence that Webster is an absolute genius.

Absolutely loved this one

I really liked this book about DID. It's one of those books that shows that love can overcome anything. Very lovable characters and I loved the ending.

K. Webster and her sneaky stories- she has a magical ability to suck you in and keep you there. She lures you in with tempting characters and holds you hostage while the story unfolds. You don't dare put it down because you are so invested in the characters and what might happen if you aren't reading.

I like to equate her ability as "the Never Ending story effect." You are pulled into the story and you feels as though you have the ability to assist or change the outcome.

Fantastically phenomenal writing and an incredible journey.

As I was reading this book, I was more than ready to give this 1 star. But I was pleasantly surprised. I understand now why everyone was saying to go in blind. What a different book. I’m glad the author did research because a topic like this should be written accurately. However, I do want to say, some of this writing was cringey, at times I felt like the writing was just immature. I really was annoyed by the two main characters and Yeo’s family. A different twist to this book for sure, but I really had to struggle to get to it.
