“This stand-alone is best enjoyed when you don’t read any reviews or spoilers before reading. Going in blind is best. Trust me.” If you’re going to have the synopsis say that, you better deliver. And this book sure didn’t. The “twist” was obvious from VERY early on. I hate read the rest of the book, it never got good, and I have regrets. I trusted the author as asked & was thoroughly disappointed. It wasn’t even well written, and if I had to read the words whisper or roar one more time…

I needed to take a few moments...I'm gonna make this a spoiler/synopsis free review. Like the author advises, it's best to go in blind. I must warn you that things are not what they seem with this one. Up until the middle of the book, I didn't expect that huge twist. Absolute genus and wonderfully written. All I'm going to say is quite fascinating how the mind works.
This has to be my new favorite book by K. Webster. I literally have so many feelings. It's was a very tough, and tragic read but beautifully done. The devotion this H had for h was very genuine and most guys would have ran for the hills. Not Yeo, everything he has done for Kady was out of pure love and acceptance. Definitely, going to re-read in the future.

The book was simply amazing! Instant favorite! I went into this blind as I wanted to experience the story as it unfolds. And I’m glad it did. The way that the main character is written is phenomenal!

Wow. This was probably not something I would normally read, but I was gifted this ebook by the author and went in blind as advised. Such a whirlwind of emotions through this book and some parts were very hard to get through, but I feel Kady’s story is important and speaks out for the many others who suffer and don’t have the ability to be a voice for themselves. Don’t recommend if you have any assault triggers.
To be fair, this had to be incredibly difficult subject matter to write about. However. Unless you have the diagnosis the main character has, I don't think you should write about it. I don't suffer from it, so I can't say, but it felt very cliche and misunderstood as far as my limited knowledge of it. The character of Bones felt very problematic in a number of ways. Also, I'm not sure what K. stands for, and for some reason I felt like this was a female author, but the smutty parts (and a lot of the rest of it) very much felt like it was written by a man. Nothing wrong with that, just expect a lot of "pounding" and references to slits and gashes that not a single woman I know would make.
Well, this book was probably one of the most confusing books I have read. I honestly had no clue what was going on until just over half way through and BAM it all made sense ! And my goodness, what a turn of events ! I was SHOOK. Like - slammed the book down, mouth gaping, screaming OMG a hundred times - kinda shook. My mind was blown. In the best possible way
Going in blind and I'm blown away. This is a fantastic book and I absolutely loved the plot. Didn't see it coming at all. Read it.
