The bits about her relationship with her sister and family were good

Felt like the ending happened  a bit abruptly
~
‘These myths consoled her and made her feel like the earth had a custodial purpose, that these natural phenomena were not entirely removed from the human race’

I never knew where this was going and I still don't think I understand where it ended (may revisit, considering I wrote this right after finishing). While the story is, at it's heart, a familial tragedy, it's the writing and, frankly, the word choice that won me over for the book as a whole. Gorgeous, even with the squirms it induced

I had HIGH hopes for this book and genuinely was excited to read it. It took me months to finish it since it was getting more into her day to day life rather than the actual issue itself. I wished that there was a lot more explanation on Nede and the whole process of it rather than having only a few pages of explanation. Also what happened to Ethan??? Need to know.
