I wish I never read this because Mac and Barron's looked much more different in my head then they did in the book. Not that it was bad. No. The plot was good, and the characters remained true to themselves.

It's actually really good. I had high expectations that were not met, but that's okay. I think.

But Mac slightly(seriously) resembles a Barbie, and Barrons could be likened to a ...well...gosh I...

A rhinoceros .

I FEEL LIKE SUCH A AN A-HOLE but he seriously looked like he had been juicing or something. I always imagined his suit as a part of his body, because he was always in it. But in this novel/la he wore a white shirt tucked into pants for almost of the time. White? At least make it black like Barrons' soul. Pair that with the fact that Ryodan had on this ugly, sleazy striped shirt. Quoi? Ryodan, who I just recently read about, in his murderous, calculating, psychoanalyzing glory, wearing some tacky bowling shirt? Idk.

Anywho, read this. They mystery is really good. This is good.

Fever Moon is a graphic novel set in the Fever series world. It takes places as a side story during the Shadowfever (the last book) time. It was a quick read, but I will say that art was beautiful. I read of couple of graphic novels and sometimes the art looks good for the bigger panels or the cover, but when you get into the story and the smaller panels the characters lose their features a little, but here you can tell every panel was given so much care and detail. I really wonderful work. The character essentially being brought to life were very good. Mac was pretty much as she's described in the books, and Barrons, even though not exactly what I personally picture, was pretty close, maybe just a hair off for me. But he was prety close to perfect. Dani almost looked too old for her age of 14. But she was still nicely drawn.

I would recommend this to anyone who's read the Fever series. It's a nice little side adventure with Mac and Barrons.

This would have be my least favorite book of the entire series. The story itself was mediocre. The artwork was exceptional except I didn't think Mac or Barrons fit the characters I had already developed in my mind. Also, I don't like that the book is taller than the other hardcover books in the series (I must find a new bookshelf to put these on now).

Sigh.. lol. I love just about anything Mac & Barrons related. It was totally different seeing the FeverWorld this way, some things fit into my imagination, others surprised me. I think I re-read it about 5x already (my favorite scenes more often - lol).. Cant wait for more fever stuff. October is gonna be awesome!!

The story wasn't altogether canon but it was beautiful in its art!

This is definitely one that fans of the Fever series will not want to miss. It doesn't necessarily add much to the series, it can almost be treated like a novella, but it definitely satisfied a craving that is forever hiding beneath the surface for most of us fans (and left me even more eager for [b:Iced: A Dani O'Malley Novel|12444166|Iced A Dani O'Malley Novel (Fever World, #1)|Karen Marie Moning|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1333022535s/12444166.jpg|17427104]). It was really awesome being able to envision the characters despite the fact that I didn't exactly agree with their interpretation of Barrons. For me, Barrons is more of a David Grady type.
But instead he came out more like this:

Ehh... just wasn't what I pictured. Was it still awesome? You betcha. 5 big stars for the awesome artwork done by the late Al Rio, 3 stars for the story itself.

Graphic novels just aren't my thing. I have a much harder time getting into the story, probably because I rush to read the words, then skip the pictures entirely.

I love the Fever series but this book I just couldn’t get into. I was disappointed because I love this series and was so wanting to love it like the rest of her series.

Ok I didn't mean to finish this in one sitting but I did. I am that addicted to Mac, Barrons and the whole crew. The story itself was good it picked up in the middle of " Shadowfever" and has to do with the Fear Dorcha which is the creepy thing that sits at Ryodan's place Chester's. The only thing that bothered me about this book was the illustrations. Why do all the female heroines in grpahic novels look similar?
