This book is an ideal definition for the idea or concept of 'Magical - Realism'. The way Evie Woods has framed the whole story it really seems realistic. For magic, I suppose there's not very much of that but at the same point it's enough for the story.

This book is more of character oriented then bookshop oriented, in my opinion. The very idea of the bookshop to be found is somehow predictable but what happens with the characters is the exact opposite. This made me feel kinda upset may be it's bcz I wanted it to be focusing more on the bookshop discovery.

But, I can not prevent myself from complimenting author's writing style bcz she has made every bit of the effort to make the characters seem real and for me she has successfully done it!!! I cannot stop imagining these characters only due to the fact that they seem to be very real. If you remove the magical elements, you can surely convience me that this once existed for real.

First ⭐ For writing style of the author..
Second ⭐ for the story bcz it has several cherishing moments..
Third ⭐ for the Powerful Female Leads!!
Fourth ⭐ for the chemistry of characters :)

One more thing that it is not spicy.

That's all form me!! ;)

Didn’t find myself particularly attached to Henry as a character and possibly could’ve done without the romance plot between him and Martha.

Opaline’s story was definitely the most engaging! Took a little while to get into it and the ending fell a little flat. There’s a difference between having an open ended story and simply not tying up any of the loose ends.
