The author really brought home the fact that Ares and Ravens sister were together. Adding in scenes like seeing the picture on his phone and Raven hearing them having sex next door to her was shitty I felt so bad for her I don't know that I would have been able to get over that shit. But Ares was really great to Raven and I do think he really loved her like he never did really love her sister.

Had everything you want in a romance...
Bossy possessive billionaire. check.
unrequited love. check.
friends to lovers. check.
Arranged marriage. check.
Plus, just the right amount of angst. After reading two books by her, Catharina Maura officially goes on my auto buy list of romance authors.

Reading this was like watching a telenovela. The drama had been cursing at 2am (the spicy scenes also had been cursing at 2am but with a different tone). I honestly enjoyed this book, sure it's got a predictable billionaire romance theme but Ares Windsor is freaking book husband material. But as someone with a sister, I could NEVER even consider looking at someone my sis dated, let alone marry. But yeah, I support it in the literary sense not IRL. I really would have liked seeing Hannah marred or tortured, but hey, she got her just desserts. On to the next book!
