After all this time I feel like this is just a bit of an easy ending for Makima. Considering how insane she was built up to be, Denji just kinda...tricks her. And eats her? And that works kinda Just Because. But she's gone and now he has a child reincarnation of the control devil, Aki is dead, and he has to find Blood Devil in order to befriend it and maybe get Power back

This volume picked up the story and it felt like an acid dream.

But in truth? I think the real show is about to begin. As if the past 11 volumes were just building up for what's to come. I have a hate-like relationship with that.
