Honestly I was really excited to read this after seeing so many people recommend this but it didn't really do all that well for me. The story had a lot of potential and it started well but as I progressed through the volumes it became hazy what read in the last 4 ones. For me, I think it was really rushed and the author could've taken more time and building up the story. Coming to the characters, not one of them stood out to me. Aki maybe a lil bit and Power. But Denji as the MC was just shallow. I could've done with some character development on his part. Makima was an okay antagonist. I wish there was more to her character. Tbt I didn't like any of the female characters and I wished there was one that wasn't sexualised and had some personality. To me all of them were same just in different fonts. I'll a 9/10 for the artwork. I really loved the designs of all the devils.
Overall it was a good read. If you're looking for a fast-paced shonen manga full of gore you might like it. The story had a lot of potential. I wish the author had structured the storyline some more to give more depth. Oh and I'm looking forward to seeing the anime. I think it would be a treat to watch it.

Wow. This entire series was messed up. I am now currently messed up. I don't even know how to review this. Just go read this crazy, gory, hilarious nonsense.

A few big plot points did feel quite rushed towards the end and despite all the chaos, death and violence the last few pages were so nice. Some hope for the future.
