Either the most pretentious book I’ve ever read, the most sardonic, or the most nonsensical. I’m inclined to believe the second one - there’s some serious excoriation of the manic dream girl ideal and the propensity of people to believe their life problems are solved one idea after another. But I also echo all other criticisms of tone and word choice. I wish there were more colors.

I've never been high, but I have a feeling it's like reading this book. Nonsensical attempts at spouting wisdom. Horrid similes you'd expect out of an immature teenager. Random tangents of ridiculousness. You can sit with it, but you'll only hate it more. This isn't philosophical or life-changing: it's one person's attempt at sounding wise and failing so miserably.

Your high as a kite neighbor telling you about their grand realization of life only to describe eating dog shit while aliens abduct them all of which is a plot by lizard men? That's this book.
