I was hooked right from the start. Every chapter gave a new and interesting perspective, slowly uncovering more details.
I had no idea where this book was going and I would strongly recommend reading this without doing any deep dive into the plot.
I read this book in one day.

I disliked this book then liked it then disliked it again and then liked it again and in the end I just had to respect it for providing a unique and interesting story, irrespective of my likeness. yes, it was creepy, it was tense, and it was definitely confusing, which appears to be a staple in horror novels. my biggest pet peeve is unreliable narrators, but I suppose it was necessary here. in the end I'll say I did enjoy it, though there were good moments and bad ones, for I think that adds character to a book.

What did I just read?! Read it blind. I found it when looking for books similar to ‘Sharp Objects’ by Gillian Flynn and it did not disappoint. It took three times renewing it from the library but I’m so glad I did. It was deliciously scary.

To say I loved this book seems wrong. It surprised me. Impressed me. Would recommend.
