“I choose neither”. This book shows you that you can break through your barriers and choose the life that you want to live. Truly a great book that causes you to self reflect in the best way possible!

This is a profoundly honest look into what it's like to get help. We get to see insights into people who are struggling with various things in their lives, from one who wants to end her life to another dealing with the unfairness of a life slipping away too quickly. But amid all of it are insights into what it's like to get help, how the healing process is anything but linear, but also the chance to see that healing is possible for anyone willing to do the very difficult work. It opened up some complicated things for me, but after a few days, reconciliation started to weave in, and that's what it's all about anyway. Highly recommend.

julie’s story just touched me so much and this really made me reflect on my own therapy journey and i just feel like i learned a lot and really reflected in such a positive way. it reads well and it was vulnerable and made me laugh and tear up and relate (an emotional rollercoaster if you will) and it was just refreshing and i will be thinking about this for a long long time. an easy 5 stars
