eh..? this fell very flat for me. little to no angst and the relationship itself felt a bit odd. unmemorable but not terrible. would have been better if it was longer or the relationship was pre-established.

Um... how do I describe the experience of reading this?

So, this was supposed to be wholesome, but I personally didn't enjoy it because I don't like dynamics where one person is bullied all their life and they fall for the only person that shows them kindness. While that makes sense that you'd fall for your hero/saviour, it makes me a little uncomfortable that the 'saviour' doesn't care to actually make this person be accepted by the others and instead just helps him secretly and starts a relationship with him.

So the main character Myeong has a hole in his lung and that's why he's alienated nf made fun of my his peers in school. The only person that doesn't make fun of him is the Class President Seonho, who he develops feelings for.

But my problem is that while Seonho doesn't make too much fun of him, he clearly doesn't help him or stop his friends when they make fun of Myeong's condition. He just smiles along. Furthermore, on meeting again after 9 years, he doesn't show any gentleness or concern for Myeong, and instead kisses him and takes him to a (hotel?) room even tho Myeong is uncomfortable with the fact that Seonho is wearing a ring.

All that was already enough to make me wary of Seonho, but then the scene where he licks his palm because it has spit from Myeong's coughing is just....the moldy cherry on this stale cake.

honestly like 1.5 star ⭐️

🔹this is a one shot (not a series) so it was over so quick and sadly there was like no plot

🔹the two MMCs went to high school together & see each other again at their HS reunion at a restaurant

🔹the two of them are outside talking & leave together to hook up

🔹there are a few flashbacks of HS days between the two of them but not much

🔹the ending part was honestly confusing I didn’t understand it at all

🔹aaand then it was basically over 🤷🏼‍♀️

really cute 😭

I expected more of a story, some more back story, some more explanations. This was just ...

Not sure if this is true of all editions (I read the newly-released LOVExLOVE English version from Tokyopop), but I was disappointed with this. If you've watched the animation previously (I think I first saw it in 2019 after seeing it mentioned on Tumblr) then this manga is just a different format of the same exact thing. In fact, the animation actually is better because you get more minor details that do not come across in the "manga". And here the classification as a manga is very loose - it's just screencaps of the animation put in order with some dialogue boxes. You're not getting any of the nuance and emotions that the animation provides. Further, the animation has some scenes you're not seeing here. In order to really appreciate the relationship between these two people, definitely watch the animation along with the bonus content not in this book and just use this as a sort of companion guide. If you're only reading this and accepting it as is, you're missing out.
lighthearted reflective fast-paced

¿Dónde está la trama? No hay ni introducción de personajes, ni desarrollo de la trama, nada. Sólo una linda paleta de colores verdes y azules. Pero, ¿y la trama?
