I'm 100 pages in and I already don't like Paige. She seems pretty whiny and pathetic. I was tempted to DNF this book but I want to see if she can redeem herself.

Breaking Stars is the second book in the Celebrity Series following the story of Paige and Tatum.

Paige Lockwood also known as America's Sweetheart has been a Holly wood Actress since she was seventeen. Despite being handed everything on a silver platter her life is not as easy or glamorous as it seems. She is controlled by her publicist and agent and she has to face the backlash after being cheated on by her Rockstar boyfriend.

To escape all the drama she leaves LA with no place in mind. A flat tire in the middle of nowhere lands her with a chance encounter with Tatum Montgomery.Tatum comes from a small town named Hanford, named after the first resident of that place in Louisiana.

Then as Jenn put it, the story was a 'cliche.' Movie star falls in love a small town boy. Add an ignorant, irritating ex-girlfriend that you just want to strangle and an over-confident, cocky ex-boyfriend AND paparazzi's and it's the perfect mix for a disaster.

Returning to her life, Paige faces a lot of backlash after her disappearance but she finally takes charge of her life and does what she wants. And well, who doesn't love a classic HEA?

Among the hurdles and mishaps, Paige grew as a person. She took hold of her and said to hell with everything.

What I liked about this story is that the movie-star, for a change is not the male. Jenn gave us the ugly side of being a star which we as 'common' people don't tend to get to know about. In that way, I found it refreshing.

This book is fast paced with enough character development in regards to the story line. If you are looking for a quick and easy read with drama in it then this book is for you.

4 PRINCESS STARS

NOTE:- This book is a standalone and even though Maddison and Walker from Seeing Stars appear in this book you don't have to worry because it is not dependent on the first.

Tatum is adorable. At the beginning of the book I thought he would be all intense and mysterious when really he's a guy who wears his heart on his sleeve. I know it was mentioned several times that Paige was the innocent one but I found Tatum to be just as innocent.

I am a huge fan of J Sterling. I loved her Game changer series and I loved Madison and Walkers sorry Seeing stars. This one did not disappoint. Tatum is every girls dream southern boy. He is hot first off and he has manners too. He is a complete mamas boy and I love it. I also loved how they fell together. Tatum wanted to wait for sex and Paige respected that I enjoyed that different change from the old story's. The writing is always spot on and things flow together. Sterling makes me fall in love with her characters and to me that's what makes a story stick to you. I remember at the very beginning how I was hoping that Quinn and Rayson get a story. Looks like they are next I can't wait...while at the same time think oh god no. Thank you Sterling for another great read.
