This Reality Bleed series is seriously fucking awesome, this third volume of JW & JZF’s wicked space horror continues to kick my ass and boggle my mind. It’s perfect really, I don’t know how it could be any better, but each volume keeps getting fucking better.
5/5 Fat Fucking Skulls, big time! ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️

The third book in the Reality Bleed series, and follows on a par from the second. The tension is growing as the books continue and the fight against the monsters rages on. There's plenty of gore and adaptations to the monsters that are fun and quite unique. Still a good job by the narrator.

4.5 ⭐️. Love the plot and characters. Didn’t understand the ending after the epilogue but it will be explained later on since this is the third book out of twelve.

I have now come to the third book in the Reality Bleed series and I’ve yet to be disappointed. In fact, CRASH. BURN. DIE might be Foster and Woodward’s best book yet!

The weary and battered crew of the Perihelion is now split up and stranded inside the Mars Felicity Station, this time with a desperate need to survive rather than escape. The losses are greater, the situation more critical, and our heroes —made up of scientists and engineers rather than trained combat soldiers—are having to come face to face with relentless monsters and a cruel reality.

So, my thoughts? Now that I’ve come this far in the series I can safely say that Nazi scientist Will Braun is the most compelling character in these books with his cold mechanical interior and calculating demeanor. My favorite character, Alice Winters, is definitely the most badass and a character worth rooting for. Throughout all the fiery combat and gruesome bloodshed, these two characters were the ones I gravitated towards the most.

There were a lot of moments throughout the chapters where I genuinely felt the fear and anxiety of the crew as they were pressured to make quick, hard decisions and sacrifices. There were also moments where I found myself wincing and cringing, as if I myself were the one losing a limb in a fence of sharp, alien teeth. Chapter after chapter, I audibly gasped or murmured “No no no no!” under my breath...which pretty much means I was at the edge of my seat and loving every stressful minute of this book!

Basically CRASH. BURN. DIE was another home run in the Reality Bleed series and I am ecstatic to keep pushing through to book four!

(Thanks again to author J.Z. Foster for this wonderful copy in exchange for this review!)

4.5 stars rounded up to 5 for goodreads.

I am so enjoying this series!
This one a bit less so than the first two, but only because of the carnage focus and less character development. As a whole, the series is still 5⭐️
