The middle of the book was very difficult to get through because it felt like a bunch of stories about the family slowly decaying, but once the dots start connecting, once the math starts mathing DAAAAMN I could NOT put this book down! I hate marilyn smmmmmm i just do her white ass is to blameeeee (but also james) rlly it's all the parents' fault

Boa escrita. Excelente descrição das personagens.
Capítulos demasiado longos. Partes desnecessarias e muito aborrecidas

didn't expect to like this as much as i did! i think i might like this more than little fires everywhere. celeste ng has a way of narrating her stories so that it really does feel like im watching a film in my head. i appreciated how complex each and every character was, although i did feel jack was a bit cliche. but this was a really gripping read, and i dont usually dive into this genre. the story parallels the strong writing style in LFE, and im glad i checked it out!
