An interesting read, but rather disjointed, which, in audio form, made for a confusing read. Also, I'm not well-read enough to understand everything to which Ishmael Reed was referring.

This reads more as a description of how Malcolm X influenced the author's career. I enjoyed learning how Malcolm X effected the Black arts movement during that time.
