There were parts of The Odyssey that were very good--the cyclops part in particular--and there was a lot where I enjoyed the flow of the language, but for the most part I was forcing my way through it because I want to read Ulysses and thought it'd be good background.

Had niet verwacht dat ik hier zo makkelijk doorheen zou lezen. Sommige stukken en vooral het begin was lastiger maar als je er een maal in zit is het een spannend verhaal om te lezen. Ondanks dat het een vertaling van zo een oud verhaal is. Ik heb het met plezier gelezen!
