I enjoyed spending this time with Ava, the main character, and her innermost thoughts. Her flawed view of herself and the world made for some interesting dynamics and conversations.

Recommended to fans of Sally Rooney and disaster millennial heroines.

I loved how funny this book was and how much I could relate to Ava, which could be a bad thing in retrospect. I thought it was going in a more plot driven direction so when it dwindled for so long, I lost interest in the middle. It had me gasping at times, almost crying at times and going wow that's exactly how I feel other times. It was a fun read but I don't think it will stick with me for long. Ava will, for sure.

Parecía que en la segunda parte mejoraba pero me he quedado un poco como estaba. No es terrible pero no es lo que esperaba: he empatizado cero con los personajes (salvo a Edith) y la historia me ha parecido bastante plana.
