Felt very dull and I couldn’t get myself to like even parts of the main characters. In context, I do think I read this too soon after a similar style of book which was my mistake and maybe made the premise exceptionally boring. Small bits of humor in the beginning had me excited for the book but it did not deliver.
Not so sure whether i liked the book or not. The characters were insufferable at times but mostly when they reminded me of a younger version of me i have to admit. I guess it kept me entertained enough to read it to the end.

Read this after seeing it described as “emotionally stunted people having emotionally stunted sex”. Dry, sharp, and quietly devastating in the best way. Naoise Dolan really said “what if Normal People, but meaner?” Also, if you’re not following @ananascanread, you’re seriously missing out on some top-tier book recs.
