Cursory read
Bad vibes (not bad writing)
Plus she was preggers boooo

"This pack who saved me, protected me, cherished me, and are willing to put everything they hold dear on the line for me. Who see past my scars and carefully patch up the cracks in my battered heart over and over again.
I thought that I was broken. But the truth is that we are all perfectly imperfect, and I realize, glancing around at them, that there is nothing that I will not do to keep our family together."

Returning back to a dark dystopian world where Betas are unable to become pregnant. The Omega Creed steps in capturing Omegas as they present and training them, stripping them of their names, holding them in cages, and giving them strict rules to follow. Once put through training, they are sold or put into heat nests and forced into heat, becoming breeding machines for beta couples.

Ava is on the verge of dying and pregnant with twins taken to the hospital. Restained and confused, she meets Max... a member of the Grey Pack. Max quickly teaches her that there are Alphas you can trust!

Watching Ava fight through the trauma she went through was absolutely heartbreaking! Thankfully, she has 3 Alphas and 1 very charming beta to help her work through it and support her even when she thinks she's broken beyond repair. What she doesn't realize is that The Grey Pack is also broken! Together, the 5 of them repair each other!

This was one of the darkest omegaverse books I have ever read. I thoroughly enjoyed the plot! I will definitely be reading the rest of the series!

Ava was an extremely strong omega, which I LOVED. One of my biggest pet peeves about omegaverse books is how weak the omegas can be. Ava was definitely NOT weak. Even with all she went through, reliving her trauma, and carrying twins!

Omega Lost is another hit from author Evelyn Flood!

Omega Lost is a standalone, interconnected novel that takes place in the same dystopian universe as Omega Found. While we see a few cameos from Harper and her pack (enough so that I would suggest a reread prior to starting this book) much of the story surrounds Ava and her men.

Ava is an omega that is pregnant with twins. Pregnancy is rare enough as it is, and to have twins is nothing short of a miracle. She is found by Max, one of the alphas of the Grey pack. Max stumbles upon Ava while trying to secure medicine for his beta friend, cousin to one of the other alphas in the pack. Max finds himself distraught at the idea of leaving Ava behind to be further abused, so him and his pack decide to rescue her.

Other alphas in the pack include Lucien, Luciens younger beta brother Bastian, and Nikolai. Nikolai also has a son from a previous bondmate named Nash.

This pack, in a word, is incredible. I LOVED these men! They were so patient, attentive to Ava’s needs, and mature. They also worked harmoniously and there were virtually no issues within the pack by the time Ava joins them. It was refreshing to have an outside evil instead of an internal one. I also loved that we got to see the pack grow and intertwine throughout the book, as opposed to spending much of the time fighting the antagonist. Flood does an excellent job of navigating trauma while falling in love. The trauma was handled with such care and I enjoyed seeing Ava push against it and not let it define her.

Overall I loved this book. I was fortunate enough to receive an arc and I am so thankful for that! I read book one earlier in the year and this is likely to be one of my favorite series from this year. While Flood is a new author don’t let that deter you from reading, you wouldn’t know it with how strong her writing is.

Evelyn’s books get me every time

Great follow up Book 2 in this series. Ava’s story is so sad and thank goodness for Max rescuing her. Loved seeing Harper and the crew from Book 1 help out with not only rescuing Ava but with their work in repealing the Omega Creed.

Different!

A different take on an omegaverse and it was such a good read. Dark themes, a lot of trauma for everyone, and so much love. So happy for the omega and her pack, finding their HEA after everything they had all been put through in their lives. So sweet and little Nash really stole my heart.

This is a much more consistent book than the first, with the very real threat of the OC being felt throughout.

There is a huge amount of trauma in here and what Ava goes through is horrific. I like that Winter pack and Grey pack work together and it was good to finally see what had happened with Christian Winter. His story was predictable, but still important to have heard.

I enjoyed the relational dynamics and the fact that it wasn't just a repeat of Winter pack, but there were a lot of differences.

It's a good omegaverse book. I'm interested to see what happens in the third one though!
emotional medium-paced

This one was even better then the first! So good.
