That was very cute, and quick to read - it was all told via email on what people are up to with their lives, which was cool, I'm a little sad about the ending it was very abrupt lol

This was stupid. The only reason I'm not completely mad is because she's donating all proceeds to The Trevor Project but otherwise this is so pointless??? This is 120 pages of emails between Simon, Blue, Leah, and Abby but it's really just all about how horny and emo Simon and Blue are to each other from having to be long distance. Seriously it was just annoying. Leah and Abby do not add anything to this book and it makes even less sense because they are damn roommates but they are emailing each other that much?
Apparently emails do nothing for me or maybe it was just the fact that nothing of interest ever happens in here because this was just not it. How many pages do you even need for Simon x Blue sad hornyness uGH. And it all comes down to Simon just... transferring to his school? After all that shit in Leah on the Offbeat about how much he loved it? Stop, pls stop writing these.

I like Becky's writing style, but this one was not good.

I love a good little follow-up for a series, especially one for YA books. I like knowing that our Simonverse pals are doing well after high school.
It felt a little weird that Abby and Leah were doing email even though they were roommates? The only time that it really made sense was their side conversation to the big group email. But the Simon and Bram emails were so heartachingly sad and sweet simultaneously. I hate that they ended up long distance.
I will say that the audiobook was a little hard to listen to because of all the different email addresses being said aloud, especially during the large group emails.

i guess it's just been a little too long since i last read about creekwood and also i remember not really loving leah on the off beat. furthermore, i just might have slightly outgrown it and even though i appreciate the representation, it sometimes feels a little forced. nevertheless, it is sooo wholesome and i nearly died at the gentleman's guide reference like omg. those two series were my EVERYTHING two years ago when i first started getting into lgbt ya books, and although they might not be 100% my thing anymore, i still love them at least dor nostalgia's sake.
i love how everyone always looks out for and make sure not to overwhelm each other, but in the end everything seemed just a little too perfect and i am not too sure about the ending, either. but overall it wasa cute, fun, quick read, i don't feel like it added much to the story, but i'm not disappointed, either. also, all the money is going to an lgbt youth project, so that is great, too.
