I love the visuals of this book, but it lacks of additional information.

Not as good as the Movie Handbook, but still a fairly decent companion book to the new Fantastic Beasts film.

Like a previous reviewer, it lacked additional information, especially with the wands. Which wood was used? And what beast hairs were used? We simply do not know. That info could be in a different book though. You know, because they like to rinse you of money.
I was also hoping for more info about the Beasts. But the 'character guide' title only applies to humans, with a side dish of the Obscurus. Beast discrimination (sarcasm).
However I LOVED the movie stills, and the additional art in the back of the book.

[Edit 1/3/2021: I'm updating this (and my other HP reviews/ratings) later than I should be, but I felt the need to do it anyway. I no longer support JK Rowling as an author/creator/person due to the serious showcasing of her transphobia earlier in 2020. It was already there, and we'd seen some of it before, but last year, she really doubled down on it and refused to change when people called her out on it, which I can't support. Trans women are women, trans men are men, and nonbinary people are nonbinary; trans/nonbinary people are valid, and it's not okay to deny that.
There are also many other issues with the Harry Potter books—and movies—themselves that were brought to my attention last year (e.g., racism, antisemitism, and more transphobia, among other things), so I also, personally, can't really separate Rowling from the series regarding these issues. I think that I'll return to the books someday, as a more critical reader than I was when I last read them, but for now, I'm changing my reviews and ratings of them to reflect my current opinions and the fact that I have not yet read them as the person I am now, with the knowledge and opinions I have now. (A side note—I'm just copying and pasting this little message into all my Harry Potter reviews, because it's the one that reflects my thoughts on the issue and this is how I want to say this.)
This edit is mostly intended for the main Harry Potter series, but I'm also including it with any other Harry Potter- or Fantastic Beasts-related things I've read and rated, so that's why you're seeing it here.]
Very interesting and informing on the characters! :) (Also a REALLY quick read.)

This had a lot of beautiful pictures, but there could have been more interesting facts.
