Exceptionally intense. Once I hit page 150 or so I hit a stride that kept me knee deep in the story. Amazingly, I became sympathetic to the most despicable of characters, as the author did a phenomenal job at making everyone fascinatingly human. Gripping yet poetic, brutal yet acutely well written and humorous: I was fascinated.

Premio strega meritatissimo. Crudo, feroce, vero.

Now thís is the way you write morally gray (defenitly more black than pure though) characters! Vicious move over!
Nobody is completely bad.
This story gives great insight in the mind of a bunch of criminals and I loved it.

It was far from perfect, but I enjoyed the hell put of this one

Fair warning though: if you're onr of those people that need to like their characters to enjoy a book - do not read this! You're not going to like them.
