Wish they'd been aged up a little, spicy scenes with teenagers is a little weird.

I really enjoyed this, especially since I’m not usually a historical romance fan. The focus was very much the spicy romance with a bit of revenge plot and court politics. The illustrations by Trung Lê Nguyen was a lovely surprise that I initially didn’t notice when I purchased it.

Very entertained that Iain basically becomes batman at the end.

I'm sorry but Harry is not redeemable in my eyes anymore. He was a part of the gang who slaughtered everyone in the Scottish boy's village, put the kid into a cage and didn't feed him for days. Ok, harry felt bad for him and give him some water, and is kinda nice to him if you ignore imprisonment and ropes and chains. Harry wants a friend and is upset that his prisoner wants to run away and is not sleeping on his chances.
My braking point was when harry let others to brake Scottish boy's leg. Like he chose which leg will be broken and stood there and watched it being broken. ...I'm sorry dude, but you are not a good person and can you please stop pretending to be one to your self??

Do I want to read a romance about that kinda person? No. No, thanks.

Idk if book tries to redeem the bastard, from the way it's been written so far, it doesn't seem like a possible arc. The book presents Harry as a good boy this far already, so idk....
