more like a 3.5, purely because of the writing. I get that the author is a legend and over 80 years old but it could've been better nonetheless. amazing woman, horrifying story

Interesting subject hindered by poor writing and pacing. I don't feel like I learned anything more than a Wikipedia article may have taught me which is never good when reading a biography especially about a person whose life intersected not only multiple identities but historical events.

I’m not sure how to feel about it, I liked the topic and the poetry, but I found the writing style difficult to read.
