3.5 stars if not for Nightingale who bumped the rating to 4. I think this story is easier to grasp than the previous one though the main plot is still a bit messy at times. What the plot lacked though is compensated by the humor, characterization and Nightingale, whom I love even more after this book, way more than Peter really and it's a pity there is still not enough of him. I shall definitely continue this story and to learn more about Leslie.

As with all "second in a series", I enjoyed the first one better. But, I like this world and these characters and I will continue with the series.

I saw the twist coming long before I was supposed to, but I don't even care. This was so good that I couldn't put it down even when at work (on the slim chance that my boss finds this review, that last statement is definitely a joke!)
