I thought this book had the potential to be something really good, but it could have done with being 100 pages longer. This would have given the characters more of an opportunity to develop, and to provide a better paced more coherent story as I sometimes found myself getting confused with the jumping about. I did appreciate the author’s voice and perspective and would be keen to read their next things and see how they grow!

It was going great up until the pregnancy trope overall in the beginning I thought Ashley was a bit pushy but he started growing on me and I could relate to honey wanting things slow and I’m glad she took her time. What I didn’t like was her getting pregnant if it wasn’t for that I’d given it 5 stars but the pregnancy thing nope not for me. But I absolutely loved honey and Ashley

A quick and forgettable read which relies too heavily on over-done tropes. The characters never act their age* -- instead they are one-dimensional caricatures with little development.

*Tell me why a grown ass man is referring to a woman called Natasha as 'Nata-trash'? 'Na-trash-a' was RIGHT THERE! C'mon!

The book had some potential but the characters personalities especially Honey & Fatty seemed really childish to me. I had to quickly read through some pages as the story became boring, long and repetitive chapters.

I felt the author could've developed more on Honey, Fatty's, Ashely's and Honey's mum story a bit more. The love story between Ashely and Honey was very childish, their love could've been developed in a mature way as Ashely and Honey are both in their 30s.

Though I did eventually find myself intrigued to see how things unfolded, sadly I didn't really connect with the storytelling in this book. In particular, the characters felt rather under-developed, both in their dialogue and with their decisions and actions.
