This was one of the first books that I ever read. Well, I guess I should say that was read TO me. I need to read it again and refresh my memory.

A Velveteen Rabbit is loved so much by a little boy that it becomes Real.

4.5 stars!
"Real isn't how you are made," said the Skin Horse. "It's a thing that happens to you. When a child loves you for a long, long time, not just to play with, but REALLY loves you, then you become Real.

What a beautiful story! This is such a wonderful story! i listened to this ad an audiobook read by Richard Armitage and I fell in love with this story! When I finished this I had tears in my eyes and I looked over to my closet where my little toy rabbit is laying in! I believe that this story should be read by adult to because it teaches you what it's like to be loved.
