A collection of paternal wisdom and experience from Vonnegut.

Bit of a cracker.

Didn't read the satire-screenplay that he wrote for Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde though. Couldn't be bothered.

Because of this book I forever have the image of Kurt Vonnegut writing "Fuck Hitler" on a shell as it left the barrel of a cannon. This work is pretty entertaining, especially considering that is an autobiography. He does smudge some of his life pretty well, and admits half way through that he might not be fully truthful, but still this is a great book.

I kind of tired of this one by the end. After reading a couple of biographical books, it was interesting to add a little depth to some of the events in Vonnegut's life.
