What I liked most about this that they already had feelings for each other even before delving into any sexual things like ummm sometimes or most of the time tbh ppl (in fiction) begin with sex then it develops into love so the authors has to put extra effort to make it believable that these two really love each and it’s not just lust! So what I like here that anyone can easily see from miles away that these two are joined at the hip. The 2nd most thing I liked is the title! U will know why it is named “Golden Sparkle” (so earnest and cute) which actually makes me feel like I would never forget about this story or how its characters look like.. 😭🫶🏻

- That there is lack of character development (imo) like yes they explored their sexuality and the story served it’s initial purpose but I would have liked it more if Himari and Gaku actually hung out with the girls and we get to see more of Himari and how he begin to feel more and more comfortable or even be friends with the girls and I would have liked it if we had a fast forward to them in college when they make it official and Gaku quit being scared or insecure about anyone knowing his sexuality or whatever. These kind of things, u know.
But maybe Suzumaru-Sensei intended for this to be short and I can really see where she is coming from. Overall I like the art a LOT and this is not news. I also recommend “I Didn’t Mean To Fall In Love” there is two books, that was the first one which I like most. And the second one is “I Didn’t Mean To Fall In Love-double-” u don’t actually have to read this one, it is good but it won’t measure up to the first book or to ur expectations but also give it a chance and decide for urself. U will be finding my detailed review on each of them under their review section.

Ho comprato la versione cartacea e mi sono appena accorta di averlo riletto quasi 1 anno dopo!
Amo alla follia questo manga, trovo che sia un capolavoro.
Mi fa sempre emozionare tantissimo e i sentimenti provati da Gaku e Hima li sento tutti.
Complimenti a Minta Suzumaru per aver creato un manga così mozzafiato e dei personaggi così veri!
Adoro questi due scemi e non mi stancherò mai di loro!!

Das Problem bei einer Geschichten wie dieser, auch wenn ich sie im Großen und Ganzen schon gerne lese, ist die Frage der Einvernehmlichkeit. Das ist anfangs auch hier das Problem, da Gaku sofort Hand anlegt wo meiner Meinung nach mehr Erklärung seitens Gaku notwendig gewesen wäre. Hidari ist nämlich tatsächlich komplett ahnungslos und es ist eben schwer für etwas seine Zustimmung zu geben, was man nicht kennt oder versteht.
In gewisserweise mochte ich die Geschichte trotzdem. Es war schön zu sehen, wie sich das Herumexperimentieren langsam zu tieferen Gefühlen entwickelt.

That is also the problem here at the beginning because Gaku immediately lends a hand where, in my opinion, more explanation on Gaku's part would have been necessary. Hidari is in fact completely clueless and it's hard to consent to something you don't know or understand.
In a way, I still liked the story. It was nice to see how their experimenting slowly developed into deeper feelings.
