The beginning was a bit slow (easier to watch than read). Considering it’s a novelization, it was closely similar to the movie but some things were a bit different. I enjoyed watching Anakin to the dark side, but I feel like it was captured better on film. There is more context on his path with his turn, so that was much appreciated.

Beautiful humanization and perspective on a story that sorely needed it. The first part was awkward in the way the space battle was communicated, but once the story was aboard the Invisible Hand, it didn’t lose momentum.

Such a good novelization! My one gripe (and it’s a silly one) is that the author was given so much creative license that some of the most iconic quotes from the movie were omitted.
