This one has to be the cutest one I have read. And a great book about learning to share and not be a selfish troll.
As we begin to wrap up our holiday, Neo has discovered another of Mo Willems’s classic series. The Pigeon is a sneaky bird and quite self-centred. When he discovers that the duckling has received a cookie (with nuts) by just asking, he goes on a rampage. He is surely one of the “most asking-est” birds around town. The more he rants, the sillier he looks and the duckling decides to make a peace offering. Pigeon cannot believe it, but will not look a gift duckling in the bill, so to say. Neo loved the book, particularly because Pigeon was in the middle of the action... and there was a cookie!
I bought a bunch of books for my nieflings (who all have birthdays in September) and decided to read them as well before sending them off. My bf and I both had a chuckle over this one.
Classic Pigeon and I love the Duckling...A winner for sure.
Our six-year-old really enjoys reading Mo Willems's books. This one is as cute and funny as the others.

Another book from Willems starring the pigeon with the big personality. Little duckling gets a cookie because he asks politely, which seems to befuddle pigeon. Will pigeon ever learn?
