Okay I am NOT normally one for ghost stories....but Kerry Evelyn has changed my mind on a lot of things I previously disliked. Goodness I'm glad I gave this a chance! I loved it!!! It's creepy but fascinating!!! I hadn't ever heard of Lizzie Borden until discovering Kerry's books and book group, so this story was extra cool for me because I love learning stuff and alternate theories.

You will love this story, even if ghost stories arent typically your thing.

This was a short 30 minute novella. I loved how we dove right into the action with this couple. It was interesting to see this from the man’s point of view as short stories like this are often from the woman’s. It was interesting to see his back and forth thoughts as he worked through being thrust into a paranormal “date night” with his girlfriend. I loved the Lizzie Borden history and how it was developed and twisted. I’m thankful for receiving this for review!
