3.5 Stars round up because I can't resist a dust-bunny.

First and last book probably to be read by me by this author. While I thought the story was intriguing, there were some issues that would only annoy me more if I was to read other bolks. Firstly, I really dislike writing from the villian POV. It gives too much away and ditracts from the suspense of the story. The only reason I felt generous enough to give this particular book 3 stars is because I skipped those chapters. Also, even though the world within the story is creative, there are either some major flaws and/or much that was explained in earlier installments that I missed. Either case, it seems like it would present problems later.
All-in-all I really enjoyed this novel but won't read anymore unless the writing issues resolved.

Frothy and insubstantial urban fantasy. Redeemed by the four-eyed, many toothed dust bunnies.

Welcome to Illusion Town where the thrills are real and existence is an adventure. I LOVE this series and this book is a terrific addition. Illusion Town is Harmony’s version of Las Vegas and like Las Vegas there are good sections and not so good sections of town. Unlike Las Vegas the quality of living in Illusion Town has more to do with how close you are to the Alien’s old towns. I adore the characters in this series and several are given a nod in this new arc. Hannah is The Finder. She has a gift for dream light and dream walking. She is an orphan from the wrong side of town. Elias Coppersmith was born to privilege but works for a living. I love Elias’ engineer mind. Great for solving puzzles not so great for wooing the woman he married. Watching these two figure out a mystery and their relationship is a total hoot.

Loved the story. Not crazy about the couple though. Hannah & Ellias wake up to find themselves in a MC and have to piece together what's going on. Great mystery with interesting side characters. Illusion Town is basically Las Vegas. Virgil is an awesome dustbunnie who acquires an Arizona Snow doll from a claw machine in the Midnight Carnival.

Another solid book based in Harmony!

A fun new set of books to add to this world created by Jayne Krentz. I like the mentions of characters we met in earlier series.

2nd reading: There was a new book in this series so I decided to re-read this one and refresh my memory of the plot setting. It was a breezy read. Good thing the book was cheap on Kindle. I am not sure that I will anticipate the continuation of this series anymore, though.

Good story. I liked how she named multiple characters from other books in a way that made sense. Storyline was a little shorter I thought in this book.
