started around the time the husband went to OCS, the separation from him plus this book was too much for me emotionally so had to stop. will definitely come back to it once we're settled and together again

A unique memoir about a unique experience of a woman married into the military life. Beautiful writing, honesty and a great story teller. Her grit, growth and honesty made this book memorable and landed a different perspective for those unknown to the women who are married to military men.

This author should not narrate any more books. Her monotonous tone is very difficult to listen to. The inclusion of unnecessary political commentary is too much. I don’t understand how the author ended up with her husband. She comes off as very self centered and unsupportive to her military spouse and country.
