Absolutely loved this book. I am a huge fan of a festive read being a lover of Christmas and this book did not disappoint.

I could really relate to Holly's character. I was really routing for her all the way through.

I love when Holly discovers who Finn really is and tries to keep him from knowing she knows.

The supermarket visit for supplies for her staycation is a huge win for Holly, even though its a bit embarrassing at first for her, and funny for the reader, it ends in triumph and you feel like punching the air in happiness.

Holly's parents are hilarious at times and a little bit infuriating too, because they are obsessed with Christmas they expect everyone else to be too.

I loved reading the growing connection between Holly and Finn.

The Christmas day ending is fantastic, it pulls it all together in a heart warming and beautiful way.

This was a lovely, cosy festive read. I really liked Holly’s journey right from recoiling from the after effects of splitting up with her ex, to meeting and connecting with Fin. I really liked her parents, their Christmas obsession (they sound like my kind of people!) My only gripe is that it just wasn’t long enough. I wanted more. I wanted more of Holly’s heartache after breaking up with her ex, more of building up to that tension with Fin. I’ll definitely be on the lookout for more books by Tullett.

Objectively, this book is not good. But it is cheesy and trashy and a perfect light hearted read for the festive season.

I enjoyed this Christmas story. This is a new author for me and I look forward to reading more from her in the future. This story is full of Christmas spirit and written with lots of heart and soul. The characters bring the story to life and are connectable. This is an easy, entertaining story to read. Holly plans this big holiday vacation with her boyfriend. When she finds him in bed with another woman things change for her. She goes out for the night and meets Fin. The story picks up from here and I won't say much more so you can read about thm. This is a great Christmas story that I highly recommend. It will warm up your night.
