I absolutely love retelling of fairy tales so I probably would rate it higher because of this. I wish I would have read the "And in our Daughters, we find a voice" part at the end of the book first. Why is that part at the end and
Did her sisters become her daughters?
. There were a fair number of words and phrases I had to look up and the overly flowery language made this short book feel longer as I figured out what was going on but since it was short I could make do.  Overall I liked it.

The premise and the horror of this book was quite interesting and captivating. However, the prose was very overwrought and it felt like in an attempt to use the most obscure words possible, it made the story fee clunky. Also, the overly flowery prose did interfere with understanding of what was going on.
