Was a little difficult to follow at the start. But a great read once you got to understand the links between characters
Pretty good book. i read it all in one go and took me a few hours. I read this one first in the villan series and I dont suppose it really matters the order you read them in. Wasn't the greatest but wasn't the worst

I love a good fairytale retelling, I really do. And the first two in the series, from what I remember, were pretty good. A nice backstory as to why the villain is villainous.
But this one seemed less about Ursula and more about the three witches known as the Odd Sisters and a couple of other minor characters (Circe and Tulip), who you will recognise if you've read the first two books but if you read as a standalone I can imagine you getting very confused as to who they are and why there is not more Ursula in a book about Ursula.
I would have preferred to see more of Ursula's reactions, more of her backstory.

Lovely easy read. Great for a readathon. Loved that it included so many other characters from different fairy tales.
