I really loved this collection. I was nervous when I read the title, "Your family, your body" because I don't tend to like sexuality related poems, but these I loved regardless of subject matter. I found Malika Booker and Warsaw Shire's poetry fascinating, and I'd love to read the rest of their stuff, but it was Sharon Olds who (really unexpectedly) had me picking up this book in the middle of the day for a few poems between tasks - something I rarely do. Best so far of the new Modern Poets series - I think all three poets in this one were at the level or higher of my favorite from each of the last two.

Really enjoying this series so far and this one was probably my favourite so far. Obviouly, Warsan Shire is incredible but I also liked Sharon Olds quite a bit. I thought Malika Booker was good but her stuff didn't stick with me as much - but that's probably not a reflection on her since I read her poems in the middle of the night when I was basically dead to the world and to literature.
