Ooft, yes, this was amazing! I think ?? it was one of the first adult thrillers I read (besides the mess that is Gone Girl, dont get me started) and I LOVED it! The pacing is amazing, I loved the characters, I adored the fact that I could never really decide on who I thought did it, but when I found out I was shocked but it didnt feel like it can out of nowhere. GOOD. JOB. Would definitely recommend.

I stayed up reading this till four in the morning and it was kind of disappointing. I was thankfully able to go in completely blind and not be spoiled since I knew a movie was made based off the books and I was never allowed to watch it as a kid (Thank God) so I was always curious what the context was. I had started this book back in April and I just could not stand any of the main characters. Everyone was just so unlikeable which I think was the point but I honestly didn't care what happened to any of them. Maybe I would have enjoyed the story more if I had read it in the same week instead of months apart but I was able to see where the story was going once a small detail was revealed at about 100 pages into the book. I personally did enjoy the ending but the middle is what lost me half the time.
A quick read that made me want to keep reading and untangle the many threads of this mystery. I sometimes got lost in the date changes, that went back and forth in time. And I first I didn't really realize how important those dates were. Once I got the hang of that, I was good.

A thriller that explores the instability of memory and the tragedy of abusive relationships. An easy, quick read, even if predictable.
Very enjoyable thriller. Well written characters and intrigue kept me up late a couple of nights.
