I’ve really got to start reading the content warnings. This one felt really graphic and I found myself skipping a lot of scenes. It was a super interesting concept and I thought it was handled well enough, though I did find a few typos which sucked. I don’t think I would have picked this book up if I had seen the content warnings.

A fast read once you get into. The different POVs are a lot and I’m not sure they were all necessary but Helen Grace is a solid character that I plan on continuing to read.

This book took turns you would never expect. It’s a quick read, not super complicated, especially if you like mystery and crime stories. It had me on the edge of my seat until I finished the book. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Really enjoyed this. More than I expected, to be honest. The crimes are disturbing but interesting, and it kept me reading. It's quite a fast paced read, with short chapters, all from different points of view.

Read for book club. Slightly pointlessly, since only one other person had read it and so we couldn't discuss it!

I don't feel very drawn to the other books in the series but I'll probably read the second one, at least.
