The audiobook narrators were great, but I thought as a whole this book was too cliche to be great. It was sweet and sad but predictable.

Do other Beth O’Leary romance novels have sex scenes? This one didn’t and I wondered if it was bc she didn’t want to write older people getting busy.

A light-hearted read that makes me want to be more involved in my community. I loved the narrative of a spunky older woman who is determined to find connections and bring life to whatever room she is in.

I am shocked by how much I love this book. I didn’t want to read this for a very long time because I’m naturally biased against old people ;/ but this was so good.
I think this did a phenomenal job on showing grief and healing. Leena was a heartbreaking character, and I immediately started rooting for her to do better. Eileen was also a really good character. I kinda had to confront my own biases against old people to read this book.
This was funny cute and healing. The romance is not the focus, but it really enhancing the journeys of both Leena and Eileen. There’s a little bit of absurdity to how much Eileen and Leena can do, but I love it.
Definitely recommend this to others.
