I couldn't resist trying a romance with dinosaur shifters. I mean come on, dinosaur! shifters! SMASH & GRAB was funny, cute, sexy, and just a lot of fun to read. Simon and Dalton are definitely opposites but they work together because they appreciate each other's quirks and interests and of course they both have a passion for fossils. I enjoyed watching nerdy and rule following Simon come out of his shell a bit and who couldn't love the wild, pink mohawked, pierced and tattooed, punk rocker that is Dalton. He's a bit of a mess but you can't help but love him.

Throw in some bad guys, a race across the country, and a few kitschy tourist stops and SMASH & GRAB was the perfect weekend read. Also, as someone who has actually been to Dinosaur World I can confirm that it's just as terrible but oddly delightful as the book described. I also found the origin for Dalton and the other RELIC members to be really interesting and I can't wait to read the other books in the series.

I was falling for this guy. This...pink punk, bat-wielding bodyguard. Who could shift into a dinosaur. And liked to be the little spoon. Oh, shit.

This was fine. Insta-lovey but had likable characters. Decent enough plot. The writing was good. Dinosaurs were cool, but they weren't incorporated into the story well. Combine that with the minimal world-building, and you could've taken them out of the story and had RELIC be some black-ops team or something, and the book would've had little difference. Still, I wanna continue the series and see if it gets better.

I love it when a book surprises me. Dino shifters is something I've never read about. Dalton and Simon made a super cute couple too. Fun, short, action packed read. Highly recommend.

Dalton +Simon forever!! The amazing pairing of an uptight paleontologist and an anarchic pink haired shifter (he's a dinosaur ya'll) was just what I needed. The spice is good, the action is fun, and (and this cannot be stated firmly enough) dinosaur shifters!
