So entertaining and so cute. God, I love the ending!
Very unique and interesting lore, too! I'm excited to learn more about it in the next books!

This was cozy and lighthearted.  Just what I needed.  I laughed out loud too many times, and my heart felt so full.  I can't stop smiling.

This was surprisingly fun and at times even funny. I didn't really buy the premise that dino shifters can stay unknown and unseen in modern day America or anywhere modern day other than a remote, uninhabited island somewhere. I am somewhat intrigued by the idea that they're actually some sort of
immortal beings, maybe even godlike in nature (that's just my potential reading, no one in the book made that parallel), but only with the power to shift forms. Why they're now limited to only two forms - dino or human - doesn't make much sense. Maybe the rest of the series explores that more

I liked Simon a lot, despite not being able to pin down his age for the first half of the book. He finally says he's mid-30s, yet no one ever comments on his prematurely gray hair. Then later in the book, it's mentioned his hair is graying, which is quite different from already being gray. There are other things that don't make much sense, such as
how did they get the bad guys' phone numbers, and whatever happened with the dinosaur egg. Did the cops really buy Simon's story that easily? Did the museum get alerted that the egg was returned to Mongolia? Unless it was returned to the museum. How did Dalton think that taking only the case with him to lure the bad guys away was going to work once they realized he didn't have the egg?
That last one though can be easily waved away as just being bad planning on Dalton's part. This is the guy who thinks stopping at tourist traps while fleeing drug cartel thugs is a great way to road trip. (I did Google the places they went to and was happy to see they're real world attractions.)

I don't think I'll be going on to the others. I don't think my suspension of disbelief can survive multiple books of different couples when they've been able to keep humans out of the loop for this long, and now suddenly they're all coupling up. And why are they all male and gay? 😂

I really enjoyed this, laugh out loud funny in some parts. Enjoyed the unusual shifter nature and Dalton's pink chaos.
I look forward to the next book.
