Susannah Nix does it again, with a solidly-written tribute to trusting oneself and choosing love in spite of parents who have not been able (or decided) to fix themselves before having children. Not the most escapist of reads but spicy and, for those of us who have had challenging relationships with our parents, another satisfying read about kindred spirits who find their way. I’m looking forward to reading Ryan’s story next and, two books in, hoping there will eventually be a chance to read George’s side of things.
