I couldn’t put this book down. It was interesting and takes from the ER were also interesting. I love that she found a story in every single one of those patients.

This was a book club pick and very good. Harper details her work as an ER physician who sees broken people all the time. She didn't expect to be one herself, but a divorce, move, and new job lands her in a rather broken spot herself. A stunning look at the inner working of a hospital and the patients who come in. Harper's story is one that needs to be told. I highly recommend this one for anyone working in the medical field or anyone who knows someone who does.
