Margaret Atwood is a master with words. I found myself laughing so many times throughout this book at her creative metaphors. They are so quotable that someone could make this book their entire personality. It's terrific.

This writing does drag sometimes (it's quite long) but it so damn good. I don't think you'll regret being patient with this one. It's wonderfully written. It honestly made me feel smarter. lol

This book has written by a white woman syndrome with a sprinkling of insanely graphic sexual violence. There's some interesting stuff for sure in here but it's difficult to get past the setup

Probably my favorite Atwood book yet. (Neck and neck with Surfacing.)

I love how unapologetically she writes, and her prose is just fantastic. I also feel like this is really fleshed out.

As with all Atwood books, I feel like there are eight layers here I need to peel back. I could read this three more times and not catch everything.
