This book was not at all what I expected, it had some dark elements to it which were surprising but worked in with the story. Beautiful connection between Vinnie and the new ocotopus ghost at Brighton Aquarium. The author has included important historical people and events into her book and is well researched. This book could be slightly scary to younger readers a man who is trying to hunt and hurt vinnies mother, children in Victorian workhouse conditions, a man wanting to profit off ocean life
