Fall Into You is a short, romantic novella that tells a story of Imani, who has started over and a little small town called Appeley. There's she trying to rediscover herself and get back on her feet after a disastrous and messy break up. She's also trying to navigate her life and find a healthy balance between her and her mother's relationship.
Imani struggles with her self-confidence and anxiety over immediately developing a crush on an old childhood friend that she meets in this new town. As their adult relationship develops, Imani faces several of her inner demons when it comes to going after what she wants being brave and confident and learning to love herself.
Fall Into You gives Hallmark vibes; it's set in a small town, the vibe overall light and the characters in Imani's life are supportive of her. She has issues with her mother but who doesn't 🤷🏾♀️.
Things I wish the book had was a slower pace so the romantic element of the story didn't feel rushed, forced and slightly underwhelming. Cute little story and I liked the main character.
