Not as good as the first, but still engaging. Sex definitely got in the way of plot sometimes. Still very excited for our finale!!
I was disappointed with the book. Adrian was great in book 1, but not so much in this one. The plot was lacking.
Band eins war ja schon nicht meins aber ich hatte die große Hoffnung, dass Band zwei vielleicht besser wird. Das Cover hat mir wieder gut gefallen und ich mag auch den Schreibstil der Autorin echt gerne. Leider hat mir „Queen of Myth ans Monsters“ noch weniger gefallen und ich habe das Buch nach ca. 100 Seiten abgebrochen. Ich war schon lange nicht mehr so genervt von einem Buch. Die Charaktere waren so blass und unausgereift. Isolde ging mir so auf den Keks und ich konnte ihre Gefühle überhaupt nicht verstehen. Sie hat sich oft sehr kindisch verhalten, besonders Adrian gegenüber. Ich habe bis heute nicht verstanden was die beiden so toll aneinander finden. Adrian ist aber auch nicht besser. Es gab eine Situation wo Isolde wirklich seine Unterstützung gebaucht hätte und er lachte sie erst mal aus… Und die beiden können alles, aber nicht kommunizieren. Egal welche Probleme die beiden haben, anstatt zu reden wird grundsätzlich ne runde gev**. Und die spicy Szenen hatten keine Abwechslung und lesen sich alle gleich.
Nach 100 Seiten war es mir einfach zu viel. Ich werde in Zukunft keine Bücher der Autorin mehr lesen, da es mir mit ihrer anderen Reihe auch so ging.

I liked this book so much better than King of Battle and Blood. There was an actual plot to this and a cliff hanger that will ensure that I'll definitely be reading book three. That being said, this still wasn't amazing. Most of the story felt rushed, like St. Clair just slapped whatever she had on the page so she could get the book out. I'm hoping book three will feel less rushed.

Not a bad sequel, some of my question were answered but not all of them.
The book started off slow but picked up towards the end. So much was happening at the end, that a lot of the events should’ve been spread out to make the book flow better.
Tbh this should’ve been the last book but it ends on a cliff hanger. Go figure.

To be honest I found myself confused a lot, especially at the ending. I also wish the beginning gave more context back to the first book because I had forgotten a lot of details which also left me confused. Some of the plot points felt rushed.
I do like though that this book has a different feel than some others of the genre. I am actively routing against all the characters, which is fun!
